It’s been a while, hasn’t it? With COVID19 still happening around us and the many changes we are experiencing it has been busy to say the least. This summer has been a big one for MABELS, families and friends have been keeping our business busy. We have loved seeing your smiling faces in the restaurant.
We’re sure you’ve seen “help wanted” signs around the community, unfortunately we are apart of those businesses. We are currently understaffed and looking for hard-working and kind people to work at MABELS.
A few things about working at MABELS:
Pay starts at $10 per hour. All front of house team members tip share. Pay is based on experience and training.
All team members must go through training online and a follow up 90 day training.
Schedules are SUPER flexible. We will work around school and sports. You must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week. You must also have some Saturday availability- at least once a month.
Schedules are done weeks in advance in order for you to plan and find coverage for shifts if necessary.
Time off is available for all of our team members. Almost all time off requests are approved.
You must be 16 years old to apply or 15 years old with a workers permit.
All team members are given free food on shift and team discounts on menu items!
All major holidays off: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
Team gifts and bonuses are given quarterly.
Our iconic Hot Chocolate Bombs are coming soon! Pre-sale begins in October. All you have to do is pour hot milk or water over the Hot Chocolate Bomb and boom! Now you have hot chocolate.
Speaking of hot chocolate and all things winter, our Santa’s Sugarplum Cafe is being hosted on December 19th. We offer time slots at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. Our 11am seating is almost full, so make sure you sign up quickly if that’s the time you want. You can get tickets online and more info at wearemabels.net
