Dear MABELS Community, Family & Friends,
We are extremely excited to announce that we are opening a second location in Clarksville, VA! For those that do not know about Clarksville - it is Virginias only lake side town and is roughly one and half hours away from Powhatan. This new location is about half the size of our current location, in Powhatan, and we have made the decision to do a fast casual model in Clarksville, VA. Our mission at MABELS is to bring communities together through signature burgers and craft milkshakes where families can create lasting memories. We are so excited to be able to share this with the Town of Clarksville and Mecklenburg County.
We want to thank our MABELS community for your support and love over the last 10 years. We know without our team, vendors and community that this would not be possible - and we can not thank you enough. For those that don’t know, when we purchased MABELS in 2022 our goal was bring MABELS to communities across the state and hopefully across the country. We are so thrilled to be able to take one step forward in making this dream a reality. We truly can not thank our families and friends enough for their on-going support and can not thank our team enough for standing with us. We are so excited to expand our community and bring MABELS to Clarksville. Regarding our Powhatan location, we will still operate in normal capacity.
We want to share more about our Clarksville location. The new location will operate in a fast causal setting where our signature burgers and craft milkshakes are packaged in a to-go style. The town of Clarksville is a unique community with lots of shops and other businesses that have direct access to Bugs Island Lake and a public boat dock within walking distance of the town. Our new fast casual model will allow the community of Clarksville to eat inside or take to go while they enjoy everything Clarksville has to offer. In this location we will be offering a reduced menu while still serving the MABELS favorites. We will also be introducing new treats and menu items for this location. There will lots of seating options for families to still sit down and create memories together.
With all of this said, we ask again for your support. As we mentioned above, this has been a huge dream of ours since before we even purchased MABELS. We have both been a part of MABELS since we were 15 years old and have spent our time working toward this goal. In a twist of fate the opportunity in Clarksville came unexpectedly and we had to move on an opportunity that was too good to pass up because Clarksville is the next perfect expansion for MABELS. With this, we have curated an expansive list of experiences and items from a one-of-a-kind MABELS t-shirt to a weekend stay in Clarksville that is available for purchase.
